Who We Are:
At Brooks, we believe a run can change a day, a life, the world. Everyone who works here is a key part of our obsession to make the best running gear on the planet. We want our business — which also happens to be our passion — to be a place where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves. Our company culture defines us, bonds us together, and drives our success. We live this culture daily through our brand values: Runner First, Word is Bond, Champion Heart, There is no “I” in Run, and Keep Moving. This means we always solve for the runner, do what we say we will, give it our all, are generous with our humanity, and find a way to keep moving every day, because joy is kinetic.
Are you ready to help create something extraordinary?
Your Job:
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst for product systems, you will collaborate with creators and consumers of Brooks product data to manage and support their IT-enabled systems. Your top priority will be oversight of our FlexPLM enterprise product lifecycle management (PLM) system followed by learning about and providing backup support for our Contentserv PIM system. We have several critical integrations between FlexPLM and downstream consumers of Flex Product data including Infor M3 ERP, Contentserv PIM and Brooks’ Enterprise Data Warehouse (BAM). You will be responsible for understanding the data flows to each of these systems.
You will work with PTC and our 3rd party FlexPLM support partner, as well as other internal systems teams to ensure the Flex technology and integrations are stable and maintained to meet our business needs. While much of your effort will focus on helping product teams fully exploit the features and functions of the FlexPLM system, a key component of this role is to understand the technical capabilities and limitations of our systems and how to best leverage them in the Brooks environment. You will work with business partners to develop business requirements, review functional requirements, troubleshoot integrations with other systems, coordinate deployment of customizations and own the Brooks Change Management process for FlexPLM.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the product teams and IT by identifying stakeholders’ business problems and use cases and translating/decomposing those needs into actionable business requirements, user acceptance criteria, and user flows
  • Provide implementation and ongoing planning support by utilizing business requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap fit, training and other relevant BSA skills
  • Own regular super user meetings to discuss system enhancements and necessary business process adjustments
  • Manage system use against owned licenses ensuring compliance with Brooks’ licensing agreement
  • Partner with our cloud hosting vendor to address any reported system instability and scalability issues
  • Troubleshoot integration issues by leveraging knowledge of required attributes and FlexPLM log files to identify root cause
  • Coordinate with 3rd party support for delivery of system upgrades, fixes and enhancements and ensure that ITIL-based change control processes are followed for approvals, planning, testing, documentation, and implementation
  • Use ServiceNow (or other service management tool) to track and report on support tickets and track performance against SLAs
  • Partner with 3rd party support to ensure root cause analysis is completed on production application failures and drive necessary remediation of defects
  • Develop and maintain documentation including system context diagrams, system and data interfaces, and controls for each assigned application
  • Play a key role in the development of enterprise-wide integrated business processes to streamline communications and ways of working across sales and customer service for retailers and consumers
  • Manage and document system access roles and permissions; integrate access provisioning with active directory
  • Support the enterprise data governance process by monitoring and driving adherence to evolving guidelines about data quality and completeness
  • Work with the business to define and execute data archival and retention strategies for each assigned application
  • Manage relationships with vendors providing supporting services for assigned application systems to ensure performance and deliverables adhere to contract terms
  • Manage all applicable vendor relationships including escalations, enhancement delivery negotiation, statements of work and Service Level Agreements
  • Collaborate with IT Security to develop disaster recovery plans and direct annual testing for each assigned application based on business criticality
  • Ensure disaster recovery documentation is current and complete with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
  • Support the Product Teams via development of an IT roadmap to drive business value of the product development function by partnering with the business to support prioritization and tracking of needs, ROI development and project proposals, and defining process impacts and change management activities/collateral
