What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Middleware Developer is responsible for:
Oracle SOA to Oracle E-Business suite and Oracle Service Cloud Integration Components with an emphasis on system improvements, integration with other systems, day-to-day troubleshooting, minimal administration, and general support.
Multiple Application integrations using SAS applications like Workato and Oracle Integration Cloud.
This role is part of the Oracle Custom Development group.
What you will be doing:
Technical development lifecycle including design, build, unit test, and deployment.
Use current Helen of Troy SDLC to successfully implement solutions and change control standards.
Support administration and tuning of all SOA Middleware Servers and Application installations.
Assist the DBA and system administration team in identifying SOA-specific tables that need archival and purging.
Work closely with business analysts in the development and support of Oracle EBS suite.
Primary support for bugs/issues with Oracle SOA custom development modifications.
Participate in analysis, design, and solutions of major projects.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:

Strong written and Oracle communication skills.
Established ability to develop and maintain system documentation.
Design, build, develop, modify, and implement technical solutions.
Develop specifications for several large, inter-related projects and implement them and provide oversight of their implementation.
Interact directly with users to resolve application issues.
Provide technical expertise within the team and to outside project teams when requested.
Communicate and describe work details and relevant technical matters, in written and oral form.
Lead projects of moderate scope or phases of larger projects and work with other project team members, as assigned.
Be responsible for operational and/or maintenance activities for one or more specific projects as assigned.
Abide by and be responsible for performing all duties as assigned and in accordance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Technical Field
3+ years of Oracle SOA 11G and 12C development experience
3+ years of Configuring Oracle WebLogic SOA Domains
2+ years of working experience with automation tools like Workato and Oracle Integration Cloud
3+ years experience with SQL, PL/SQL
Experience using BPEL, SOAP, XML, WSDL, XSDs, and REST to develop Web Services.
Experience with SFTP and AS2 communication protocols.
Knowledge of applications and systems development lifecycle principles, practices, and procedures.
Experience working with relational databases.
Experience using languages like SQL, pl/SQL, and Java.
Experience using DevOps, ci/cd methodologies/tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
