What you will be doing:
The Associate Brand Manager will work with Marketing Directors and Brand Managers to help to drive success for their assigned brands (Hot Tools, Revlon, Bed Head and/or Gold n Hot). This includes helping to plan, prioritize and direct activities to achieve short-range and long-range business development objectives.
Assist in the development of marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, win strategies, schedules, and action assignments.
Work with Marketing Director to maintain brand positioning and equity across all materials and marketing channels. This will include writing copy and giving direction on briefs, packaging, website, trade marketing materials, social, ads and DTC material.
Collaborate with internal creative teams on the development of these assets and will be responsible for coordinating artwork approvals from key collaborators such as legal and licensing.
Assist with marketing counterparts to supervise campaign performance to ensure commercial goals are met/exceeded.
Team up with sales to facilitate the selling process, including retailer strategy, pricing analysis, reading and following up on call reports, power point presentations, relevant market data, and samples and artwork.
Partner with sales and digital colleagues to ensure in-store and online experience is flawless for our consumers.
Support the development of basic marketing strategies (i.e. product positioning, sub branding, required features, pricing, etc.) working with management, sales, industrial design and R&D/engineering.
Assist the cross functional team to develop and complete a new product launch plan including sell in materials, packaging and ecommerce support materials, and a comprehensive outstanding consumer experience support plan.
Conduct ongoing business performance assessments to ensure each SKU is profitable, has a “reason for being” and accurately positioned relative to other Helen of Troy products and competition in the marketplace.
Use POS from key accounts as well as data from Nielsen, Circana, Profitero and others. Monitor movement, market share and make strategic/tactical recommendations to management on an ongoing basis.
Routinely conduct store checks and evaluate driven product offerings to gain/maintain knowledge of marketplace activities. Develop communication tools (i.e., charts/graphs) for sales, management and customer use.
Jointly work with finance, sales and Marketing Director to develop annual sales forecasts as well as Demand Planning Analyst and sales to lead all aspects of the monthly issuance of the la estimates to update the forecast.
Work with supply chain, engineering, quality department, program managers and creative to maintain item information including product specs, part numbers, descriptions, engineering change requests, etc.

Bachelor of Science
3 + years marketing experience in the consumer products/beauty arena
Understanding of Brand Management/Marketing in mass, drug, prestige and ecommerce retail environment
Basic understanding of costing/pricing financial analysis and P & L management
Knowledge of retail pricing, promotion, distribution and merchandising and overall customer journey
Experience in product and packaging development/management
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis
MBA in Marketing and Management
