Position: PR & Influencer Manager

Department: Marketing

Work Location: Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

The PR & Influencer Manager will handle Drybar’s existing partnership portfolio, as well as strategize, develop, and onboard new partnerships and opportunities that achieve our goals and drive maximum value in our public relations and influencer management efforts. The PR & Influencer Manager is a proactive, highly motivated individual with experience in and a passion for public relations, influencer marketing and community management. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day strategy and campaign execution for Drybar’s current and growing influencer, public relations, and partnerships programs.

The ideal candidate will have confirmed experience working directly with influencer campaign and reporting softwares as well as supporting PR outreach programs and project leading digital launches.

  • Influencer Relations: Establish and maintain influencer contacts. Responsible for influencer outreach, negotiating fees, handling invoices and payments, sample send outs, tracking deliverables, reporting results, obtaining, and approving content, and handling the influencer budget. They will also be required to handle partnerships through influencer management platforms as well as oversee all influencer campaigns run through PR agencies.

  • Campaign Planning & Creative Briefs: Works from the strategy and plans set forth by the Associate PR Director and Marketing leadership team to integrate influencer campaigns into all brand activity. Using influencer management platform Grin, create campaigns and brief out to the influencer database and PR agencies where applicable.

  • Metrics Monitoring and Reporting: Using data from GRIN, be responsible for monthly reporting on all campaign metrics and Key Performance Indicator’s, updating the monthly trackers, making pitches to the marketing team, optimizing future campaigns based on takeaways. They are also expected to keep on top of trends and industry insights to further enhance campaign strategy and delivering these insights to the team.

  • Ambassador Programs: Using Skeepers and Grin, be responsible for running product seeding campaigns with ambassadors for retailer and Direct To Consumer reviews and content. They will share updates with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure webpage reviews across DTC and retailers. Manage the skeepers budget, negotiate the best value for money when renewing contracts and oversee all contractual activity, shipments and orders through ambassador programs, working closely with retail and DTC teams.

  • PR Agency Management: Maintain relationship management with existing PR agencies, leading weekly calls and supporting the Associate PR Director on all agency related projects. Review collateral and press releases submitted by the agency and support with all execution of PR events. They will also manage all PR related internal sendouts including agency stock replenishment orders.

  • Partnership Building: Maintain relationship with existing and perspective portfolio of partners, ensure the timely delivery of all samples and projects.

  • Product Gifting: Handle all product send outs including ad-hoc gifting and mailer campaigns either run internally or externally through PR Agencies.

  • Trend Reporting & Insight: It is vital this role has a passion for influencer marketing and a deep-rooted interest in beauty and lifestyle. They will be active on Instagram, identifying new talent and PR activity across competitor brands and reporting insights to the team. They will compile a monthly competitor report on key competitor activity across social media and PR and be the go-to for influencer and social trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Promotion and/or Management

  • 4 years’ marketing experience in the Influencer and PR arena

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
