In this role you will be the primary contact for your portfolio of suppliers regarding operating matters. You will bear the full responsibility from capacity planning to purchase-to-pay to on time product availability. The desired start date would be 1st of November 2023 and the position is limited for one year.
Do what you love:
- Key contact for suppliers regarding the management of seasonal and monthly capacities, purchase orders, delays (and production) and availability
- Bear the full responsibility from monthly capacity plan to timely order placement to on-time product availability and settlement of invoices and claims
- To ensure capacities, MOQ requirements, finished goods- and material lead times match with purchase requirements
- To identify and resolve issues around on-time delivery, supplier delivery performance, supply risks/constraints and opportunities in the short- and midterm
- Ensure the flow of relevant information towards upper management for fact based, in-time decision making
- Maintain master data in relevant tools
- Processing and tracking of special make up- and leftover orders
- Support for the introduction of a new ERP system and further supply chain digitalization solutions
Play to your strengths:
- Completed apprenticeship in the commercial field, further education in economics, finance or supply chain management, would be an advantage
- A few years of experience in international purchasing or other supply chain operations
- Ability to communicate clearly on relevant subject matter topics and provides clear input
- Structured and effective way of working within a cross-functional team environment
- Open minded personality with the ability to translate new requirements in positive energy
- Business fluent in English, German would be an added value
- Experience in working with an ERP system and solid user of Microsoft Office, experience with OSCA and Dynamics AX would be an advantage
- Passionate about the mountains and outdoor sports in general
