We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to help build and manage our Data Modeling projects & solutions. As part of this role, you will develop an understanding for our clients’ unique business needs, then work with a team to build, manage, and optimize our multi-dimensional data Models & related solutions our client teams and partners use for their Reporting and Analysis. This role has the scope and opportunity to work across US, EMEA and APAC regions.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of the Data Analytics & Insights team, in the ILD Platform. We focus on designing, developing and implementing Low-Medium-Complex Data Models that help our clients derive valuable business insights around market dynamics and customer behavior. You will work collaboratively with the ETL, Data Management and Client Change Management teams and also coordinate with QA and Support teams ensuring both Technology and Operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Solution Modeler to possess 3 to 5 years’ experience in consulting or professional services.
• Sound knowledge on data warehousing, OLAP and business intelligence methodologies.
• Significant experience in business modeling using OLAP/ROLAP or any other BI tools.
• Should have worked on industry leading BI tools (BO, Cognos, MSAS, Power BI) for at least 2 years.
• Should possess knowledge on data modeling, multi-dimensional modeling technique, star schema, snowflake schema etc.
• Should possess capabilities to architect/develop OLAP solutions based on the business requirements.
• Understanding of quantitative and statistical techniques.
• Promote use of latest Circana innovations and improvements to drive client business growth.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practice sharing opportunities.
• Lead client training initiatives on Circana platform & tools to aid self-service usage.

Requirements

• BCA/MCA/B. E/B. Tech in Computer & Applications, or related discipline in Information Technology.
• Desire to learn new approaches to business modeling and new techniques for modeling activities.
• Working knowledge on any RDBMS/OLTP - Oracle, SQL Server, etc. with hands on performance improvements.
• Experience in programming and scripting tools - VB, Perl, AWK, Shell (Nice to have)
• Experience in Retail domain is added advantage (Good to have)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Responsiveness and speed with an eye for detail & accuracy.
• Ability to work well in teams and with clients.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
• Creative thinking.
