Outdoors Empowered Network builds community capacity to connect youth to the transformative power of the outdoors. We serve as the backbone organization for a growing national network of regional programs that get youth outdoors through wilderness leadership training and outdoor Gear Libraries. The Network seeds and supports programs that are structurally collaborative by design, putting resources into the hands of teachers and youth workers around the country, so they can connect their youth to nature. We take a Collective Impact Approach to change, including convening annually in person, engaging stakeholders across sectors, and leveraging technology to grow our learning, effectiveness and impact.
