ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Be part of Construction Team in building the Centre of Excellence of store construction under an enterprise platform and centralizing construction activities for all VF DTC brands across the region.
The focus of his/her scope will:
  • Responsible for all functions of store construction on renovation, fit out works and store closures including supervision of site works, monitoring progress and schedule.
  • Work closely with construction professionals and vendors ensuring projects are completed within scope, timeline and budget.
  • Deliver quality store construction and in a timely manner for all new store openings, remodeling and fit outs works including closures.
  • Collaborate with brand team/lead and vendors in production of drawings, fixtures ordering including defects reporting.
  • Ensure construction execution in compliance with VF and brand design standard and guidelines.
  • Develop capital expenditure budget estimates, track and monitor construction capex expenses and delivery of project within budget.
  • Assist in analyzing and evaluation of projects bidding results and selection of approved vendors for fit out works.
  • Assist Real Estate and Construction Brand Lead in site assessment and provide technical advice in architectural details relating to construction activities.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in English and Mandarin.
  • Team player and the ability to work independently.
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Functional Competencies
  • Possesses construction site experience, technical skills level at construction methodologies and understand other technical aspects of construction.
  • Good time management, organizational and planning skills in project management.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects schedule.
  • Ability to identify construction/site issues and finding possible solution.
  • Drives execution by aligning communication, accountabilities, capabilities, processes and measures to achieve results.
  • To provide relevant feedback relating to design and construction activities for improvement.
