VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Communications Coordinator - Digital Channels (Temporary Contract) to join our Communication Team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!

The Communications Coordinator - Digital Channels will help to inform and engage VF’s EMEA employees and social media audiences through the crafting and distribution of compelling content and storytelling on behalf of and about the company and its brands.

Content Management and Editorial Calendar

As Communications Coordinator - Digital Channels you will:

  • Be at a central point to manage and coordinate the VF EMEA internal communications editorial calendar and content to secure its planning, information and assets sourcing, newswriting, publication, and other sub tasks linked to the successful publication of news across the VF internal communication channels:

    • Source content.

    • Write / produce stories, articles, case studies, presentations, and other forms of storytelling content.

    • Ensure content adhere to VF style guide, personality and communications voice.

    • Proofread and edit all content before publishing.

    • Format and publish messages using print and digital communication platforms.

    • Partner with VF’s Digital Communications team on video production.

  • Support the Senior Specialist Corporate Comms in the day-to-day activity (planning, content creation, posting) to ensure the execution of the Social Editorial Calendar.

  • Contribute to define the regional new social media strategy to elevate the VF EMEA social media engagement.

  • Partner with other members of VF’s Global Corporate Affairs organization as well as external agencies to ensure a robust and coordinated editorial process.

  • Use meaningful and actionable metrics/KPI to measure reach and effectiveness of communications.

Analytics & Reporting

You will also support the comm team in all reporting and analytics efforts on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and in the internal education and sharing of advanced key social media and comm metrics and the way to leverage them.

How you will make a difference

  • You are graduated in comm, marketing, PR and have at least 12 months working experience in a marketing, comm, social media role.

  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent copywriting is a must.

  • You have curious mindset, a “can do” attitude, and plenty of passion for your job.

  • You like working with people.

  • You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.

  • Proficient usage of digital channels / platform [social media channels, Canva, e-mail marketing platform (newsweaver, Poppulo, etc.), sharepoint, Unily, etc.].

Skills for Success

  • The ability to work with digital channels/platform.

  • Excellent copywriting capability.

  • An understanding of communication objective, internal and external audiences needs, and editorial process.

  • An expertise in creating and drafting news /stories for various channels and audiences.

  • A keen interest in writing, communication and analytics.

  • The ability to play in a multitasking, dynamic environment.

  • “Can do” attitude, accountability, reliability and attention to details.
