Summary:
The Log-In Specialist enters data per product that is sent to the Warranty Department by individual consumers and retailers/dealers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Other Duties may be assigned.
- Log product information into data system to include customer information and put comments in as to special instructions as given in notes.
- Read notes carefully and inspect products for problems.
- Handling one product at a time, read customer letter to determine reason for return.
- Create a work order by listing repairs to be done and assigning time values and dollar amount to them.
- Determine if warranty covers damages or items returned for credit or replacement.
- Prioritize repairs depending on time constraints or other special circumstances.

- High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of The North Face/Jansport. products a plus.
- Computer literate; AS400, Microsoft Office.
- Data entry skills (fast & accurate).
- Ability to work closely and professionally with many people in department.
Special Requirements:
- This job is performed as a stand-up/sit down position; Noise level in work environment is usually moderate.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Hiring Range:
$11.52 USD - $14.40 USD per hourIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
