BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

you will be responsible for management reporting of cost analysis. You will work closely with our Sourcing team and Planning team to prepare forecast/budget and track performance against goal. This position is responsible for monthly/quarterly cost reporting, and analysis of variances, as well as trend analysis of commodities and FX. Outside of monthly cycle, this position is responsible for cost impact evaluation of price/volume change. Secondary reporting and analysis responsibilities include analysis of freight spending, and some internal operation cost analysis.

Core Accountabilities

• Partner closely with sourcing team, prepare monthly product cost forecast, analyze comparison against budget/last forecast and provide narrative on variances.
• Responsible for cost analysis, help sourcing team to estimate impact of any price/volume change.
• Assist preparation of annual product cost savings budget.
• Help prepare monthly/Quarterly cost review meeting.
• Own trend analysis of commodities and FX.
• Prepare other financial reports, models, analysis, and presentations to support business needs and facilitate decision-making.
• Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

Education, Qualification and training

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.

Experience or skills required

• 3+ years of relevant work experience required.

(Management reporting experience and/or cost accounting analysis in manufacturing preferred)

• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Must have advanced skills with Excel (comfortable using pivot tables, sumifs, xlookup/vlookup), and proficient with other standard Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, etc).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase and Financial Modelling preferred.
