Role & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and develop IBM Sterling OMS solutions for various ecommerce sites globally across brands and regions

  • Understand the goals of the organization in terms of requirement and overall value that supports our business

  • Build technical designs, independently code, unit test to ensure code quality, and execute the complete deployment process of OMS application

  • Participate in the design discussion and also challenge the design that helps team to define best design

  • Participate in design and code deliverables with other team members and measure and scale the quality of deliverables

  • Identify area for automation and build set of reusable components

  • Thrive for the continuous improvements on technologies and process surrounding the OMS space

  • Ensure that NFRs like scalability, performance is met on the implemented solutions

  • Troubleshooting issues, identifying problems, and analyzing potential software solutions including workaround as well as providing timely fixes

As a Member of the OMS team, this role will be driving the overall implementation of various OMS solutions. This role will utilize her/his technical expertise and will thrive for the quality of the deliverables. This role will work with teams across global to achieve the common goal within organization. This role has opportunity to grow various within organization.

Functional Competencies

List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role

  • Minimum of 4 years experience on IBM Sterling OMS Implementation and integrations

  • Experience in designing the Sterling OMS Extensions and extensive experience in the development of java custom components

  • Experience in customization of Sterling OMS APIs, database, UIs, user exits, agents and building services

  • Experience in working with OMS Call Center and Store Engagement Application

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket

  • Experience in packaging and deploying Sterling in CoC and on-premises environments

  • Experience in working with teams distributed across locations and time zones

  • Experience with IBM Inventory Visibility is preferred

  • Ability to perform multi-tasking and orchestrate the priorities aligning with overall organization

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Academic Qualifications

Minimum Degree Held: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent education and experience required.
