Role & Responsibilities:

• Expertise in WCS 8, J2EE, REST API, WCF, SOAP and web API

• Strong experience leading development efforts to customize core HCL Commerce systems such as Catalog, Data Load, Order, Promotions, and Payments across all application layers based on client customer requirements

• Experience configuring and customizing different search engines like SOLR, Elastic Search, Bloomreach, Fedhopper etc.,

• Understand WAS admin configuration, Importing certificates, JVM configuration changes

• Integration with OMS, Payment gateways, power reviews, google analytics

• Understand different inventory models, Order life cycle

• Experiences with e-sites, store specific Java, JSP and script customizations

• Full lifecycle experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting custom solutions for WebSphere Commerce.

• Will work in a distributed scrum team and participate in backlog refinement, estimation, reviews, retrospectives, and transparent ways of working.

• Should have good Experience in using CI\CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Maven, etc.

• Will provide tier 3 incident management support as needed and participate in root cause analysis

• Employ agile based development methodologies in partnership with product management stakeholders.

• Champion continuous improvement and simplification of technology and underpinning stacks.

• Continuously improve SDLC processes including comprehensive code reviews, QA automation, unit testing, etc.

• Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in Commerce, application architecture and programming languages.

• Provide support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis.

• Promote a DevOps culture that enables engineers to execute quickly and with quality.
