Shift: 3rd Shift (Mon - Thurs: 7:30p.m. - 6:00a.m.)

This position is responsible for ensuring Operations associates, both temporary and permanent employees, receive top of the line training. The Trainer must be motivated, organized and demonstrate enthusiasm and good communication skills. Along with the other Trainers, this individual will be primarily responsible for the day to day training on all roles across the distribution center in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Train and teach all aspects of Operations
  • Ensure consistency in training proper procedures for each department
  • Facilitate training sessions based on weekly departmental training requirements and building needs
  • Review training compliance reports to aid in identifying training opportunities
  • Identify areas for improvement for associates and provide additional training support where needed
  • Evaluate associate performances throughout the training program and give recommendations to Operations
  • Effectively present and facilitate course content to associates in a positive manner
  • Proficiently assist in developing training materials
  • Review current Standard Operating Procedures for accuracy and request updates as needed
  • Ensure all training documents are updated as processes are added or changed
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Operations leadership to ensure training meets the needs of operations

Qualifications:

  • Two plus years training/work experience preferred
  • Possess organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision, multi-task, and meet regular deadlines
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and pull for entire 10-12 hour shift
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) preferred
  • Ability to present to all levels of employees with confidence
  • High attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
  • Ability to change with minimal notice
  • Ability to build relationships

Hiring Range:

$16.00 USD - $20.00 USD per hour
