HR Operations Officer

Salary: £33,000

12 month Fixed Term Contract position

Based in Bardon, Coalville, Leicestershire (Hybrid role, 4 days in office)

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional HR Operations Officer to join our established team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. This position will be based in our brilliant, modern offices at our Bardon Distribution Centre in Leicestershire.

Let’s Talk about the Role

As a HR Operations Officer, you’ll support the overall day to day HR operations tasks, working closely with the People Services Team, HR Business Partner and HR Generalists.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Maintain time & attendance tasks on Protime these include daily checking, granting rights of use, changes to work schedules and reporting relevant information to Payroll. Protime system training will be given.

  • Handling day to day associate queries either in person or via the Workday case tool relating to contracts, benefits, and general HR policy queries within defined SLA’s.

  • Maintaining all employee lifecycle activities for the site including onboarding starters, off boarding leavers and all contractual changes.

  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders including DC associates and on-site agency who supply temp workers to VF.

  • Assisting with organising and facilitating Occupational Health assessments.

  • Other ad-hoc routine procedures relating to day-to-day HR support.

Skills for Success

You should be someone who can demonstrate the following skills and way of working:

  • Confident in using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate good communication skills.

  • Experience working in a similar HR administrative support role.

  • Able to work independently and as a team player; hands-on, proactive and with autonomy.

  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 Qualification would be desirable

  • Knowledge & experience of Workday and Protime systems or similar systems is highly beneficial

  • Experience of working for a large global organisation, where process and governance is key, would be advantageous
