You are a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager with a proven track record in managing sales teams across multiple channels sales including National Key Accounts, exceptional leadership skills and deep understanding of YETI consumers.
Reporting to the Commercial Country Manager, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen who is self-motivated and driven to succeed whilst bringing your team along on the journey.
Responsibilities:
Manage and take responsibility for all operational activities related to the YETI ANZ dealer network
Propose and implement measures to improve operational efficiencies with major accounts
Work collaboratively across departments to communicate and manage expectations relating to shipments, inventory, product allocation and changes
Manage, create and review all reports for national accounts, ranging from POS data, demand forecasts to open orders
Lead, coach and manage a sales team, setting clear objectives, KPIs and monitoring performance to achieve sales targets
Develop and execute strategies to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction across all retail locations
Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the Sales team, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards and operational excellence
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, explore market expansion and execute specialised cross-selling strategies to increase revenue and deliver business objectives
Develop plans to penetrate new markets whilst maintaining a strong presence in existing ones
Engage with channel partners to refine sales strategies, utilizing the strengths and data to identify and improve sales performance
Collaborate across all departments to build and drive brand awareness and provide real time competitor analysis and feedback to the leadership team
Monitor inventory levels, merchandise assortment and visual merchandising standards to optmize store assortments and drive sales
Work collaboratively with our independent dealer network being the conduit for the business
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
Contribute insights into market trends, customer feedback and competitive intelligence for overall business strategy development
Collaborating across all departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Attributes:
Tertiary degree in business, sales, marketing or related field
At least 8+ years’ experience in a sales/retail leadership role
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in driving profitable businesses growth
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic and passionate people leader
Adaptive communication and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of retail operations, merchandising strategies and industry trends
Analytical in data, clear and open-minded
An affinity for working 'at pace' in a rapidly evolving workplace.
Ability to travel extensively to various locations across the country
